一、美国版权登记简介：
作品首先在美国境内出版的，在美国享有著作权。在美国境外出版的作品，根据其所属国同美国签订的协议或者共同参加的国际条约享有著作权，亦受美国法律保护。美国著作权登记，是提出侵权诉讼的前提条件，作品只有进行著作权登记之后，方可对某些侵权行为进行诉讼并获得法定赔偿。
美国著作权包括：文字；口述；音乐、戏剧、曲艺、舞蹈、杂技艺术作品；美术、建筑；摄影作品；电影和以类似摄制电影的方法创作的作品；工程设计、产品设计图、地图、示意图等图形和模型；计算机软件；法律、行政法规规定的其他作品；

二、登记所需资料：
法人申请：营业执照或商业登记证复印件
自然人申请：申请人身份证明及创作人身份证明文件
申请表（须由申请人签署）
创作人名称及地址
作品说明书（作品名称、类型、完成日期及发表状况等）
委托书
其他需出具的资料

三、登记流程：
1、材料准备
2、提出申请
3、登记机关审查
4、核准发证

四、登记所需时间：4-8个月

五、登记有效期：
1、自然人申请：创作人终身再加95年

2、受雇创作/委托创作/匿名创作:首次公开日后的九十五年或创作后的120年
